The Faculty of Health & Allied Sciences (FHAS) was established recently. The faculty teaches our students to discover themselves from within so that they can learn to nurture their full potential. The programs prepare students with broad, integrated FHAS knowledge. We provide a learning environment where discussion, investigation, critical and lateral thinking can flourish with the exchange of ideas and this forms the basis of all the courses being offered at our faculty. We have faculty from diverse backgrounds and student body from a wide range of demography and geographical areas. We inculcate in our student body a greater understanding of the culture of health sciences so they develop the ability to participate more meaningfully in the future. Students learn how to evaluate current and emerging technologies in sense of health of sciences; identify user needs; design user-friendly interfaces; apply, configure and manage health issues; and assess the impact of health on individuals, organizations and society. Highly qualified and experienced faculty endeavors to use current modes of teaching, learning and assessment. We provide a congenial and comfortable learning environment so that the students can gain better working knowledge of the world around, thus preparing them for a lifetime of opportunities and personal challenges.

The Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences (FHAS), Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS) consists of six departments (Medical Laboratory Sciences, Physical Therapy, Radiological Sciences, Diet and Nutrition, Optometry and Public Health [for Health Professionals only]) and offering different graduate and postgraduate degree programs in these discipline. A highly qualified (4xPhD, 9xMPhil, 2xFCPS, 5xMBBS) and committed team of very energetic sixty faculty members are there to give the necessary guidance and assistance in teaching/training activities. In addition, experienced visiting staff from different universities (Public/Private Sector) of the country and abroad assist in teaching and training of our students in their respective degree program.

The clinical training for these students is provided at many state hospitals including the second largest 1500 bedded Government Hospital of Lahore (Gulab Devi Chest Hospital, Lahore), 150 bedded private hospital (Citi hospital, Lahore), 100 bedded Al-Razi Health Care Centre and 350 bedded Suraya Azeem Hospital. Moreover, FHAS, ICBS has the best equipped, state of the art and fully functional laboratories situated within the campus premises for the training of our students. We can proudly say that with the infra-structure, faculty profiles, laboratories, hospital affiliations for our student training and on-campus teaching facilities available to our students; we are second to none within Pakistan as well as abroad when it comes to Allied Health Sciences.

Furthermore, FHAS regularly arrange workshops and conferences at International levels in which eminent researchers and academicians from well reputed international Universities come and deliver lectures/research work in their respective fields. During 2016, FHAS has arranged 1st International conference on Virology in which Professor Dr Benjamin Berkhout from University of Netherland and Dr Sher Zaman Safi from Malaysia participated. In May, we have arranged Ian Donald Conference on Ultrasonography in which many speakers from Pakistan and abroad have participated.
The first intake of students is due to graduate at the end of 2017. They will be employed at the affiliated hospitals as well as other hospitals present within the country. In time to come, these graduates will fill the health manpower vacuum in Pakistan and abroad at institutional and community outreach levels.
