Department of Pakistan Studies
PAKISTAN Studies is a subject that aims at enhancing students' knowledge about history, culture and geography of Pakistan and to inculcate patriotism in the hearts of students so that they may become a good citizen. Pakistan Studies was introduced as a compulsory subject along with Islamiat at the Secondary and Higher Secondary level during the Bhutto regime in the 1970s. Its introduction as a separate mandatory subject aimed to create patriotism among the youth and awareness of Pakistan ideology. Pakistan Studies Scope a higher level of education of study in Pak Studies helps him a great deal when it comes to CSS or PMS, particularly in documents related to Pakistan issues, History, Political Science and Geography, General Knowledge, Sociology, and International Relations.
