Overview

Main purpose of M.Phil. Program 2 years in Urdu is to prepare graduates having a deep knowledge of the subject as well as ability to analyze any given situation and draw out conclusions. The M.Phil Urdu program is dedicated to the advanced study and research of Urdu language and literature. Our mission is to cultivate scholarly excellence, foster critical and analytical thinking, and promote the rich cultural and literary traditions of Urdu. The syllabus of the subject is designed by keeping in the view that following objectives.

To educate the students who could analyze traditional and modern school of theories on the basis of research.
To create a sense of measurement of Urdu poetry and prose. Moreover, research and criticism are also major objectives of Urdu subject.
To present the research outcomes and recommendations for new researchers.
To produce the scholars who are experts of language and literature who could be example for others.
To promote the learning of Urdu and scientific study of Urdu Literature

Career Scope

Aim and major objective of this program is to prepare scholars to initiate dialogue in Urdu language and literature perspective.
This program will ensure the young researchers and scholars to participate in the interfaith dialogue for development of Urdu language in all over the world.
It is largely beneficial to nation builders.
This is an advanced level studies for students waiting for their future learning, their proficiency as professionals and their selection and promotion in their field.
There are a lot of job opportunities on completion of MPhil Urdu, the students can have numerous options to choose from Work as Research scholar, doing job as an Urdu Scholar and also career options including existing opportunities in public and private sector educational institutions.
